Atlantic City New Jersey - Transportation

Atlantic City is located on Absecon Island, a 25-mile long barrier island. Not far from three major cities, New York City, Washington DC and Philadelphia, it’s a fine location for millions in need of letting loose at the blackjack tables or the slots. Located in the southern part of Jersey’s eastern coast, Atlantic City is not far from Cape May and its surrounding beaches.

The Atlantic City International Airport provides service to the city. Flights are available from Delta Connection and Spirit Airlines. The nearest major airport is the Philadelphia International Airport which is located roughly 65 miles to the northwest along the Atlantic City Expressway and is one of the larger airports in the nation. Thirty airlines provide 700 daily non-stop flights to more than 120 destinations including approximately 30 international destinations. The airport serves more than 30 million passengers per year.
