It is African American history and heritage explored at the African American Museum in Philadelphia, the first American facility to so retell the story of black Diaspora. Visitors are treated to displays comprised of select items from the museums permanent holdings of over 750,000 artifacts, documents, photographs, art and other objects that help breath life into the past and provide perspective on the African American people .
