Airports

The nearest airport is the Newark Liberty International Airport which is only about an hour drive to the northwest and is one of the most highly trafficked airports in the country. All major airlines provide service to the airport which allows for easy access to the Sandy Hook and Gateway National Recreation Area. The airport is located between the New Jersey Turnpike, U.S. Route 9, U.S. Route 1 and I-78.
