Cape May is situated at the southern base of New Jersey, between the Atlantic Ocean and Delaware Bay, and is the oldest seaside resort in the U.S. It is also known as the bed and breakfast capital of the country, with gorgeous Victorian houses accompanied by wrap around porches all along the shores. Located on Seven Mile Beach Island, Stone Harbor and Avalon are the more fashionable resort towns along this Jersey stretch of shore, where faithful vacationers come year after year to enjoy the fine dining and shopping available along these sister shores. The younger set flocks to Wildwood to enjoy the summer and the sun in a loud, party time atmosphere.
