Bay Head is a quaint 19th century seaside village along the Jersey Shore, with art galleries, gourmet restaurants and stylish bed and breakfasts lining its Victorian streets. Bay Head is a non-commercial, quiet, couples-style destination with no boardwalks or flashing lights. The beaches and bed and breakfasts are the draw here, where a little R&R is paramount.
Windsurfing, parasailing, fishing, boating, and swimming, are all some of the activities you can expect to find in Bay Head. Joggers are out along the shore in the early morning, and bike rides through the quiet village streets are a popular pastime as well.
Bay Head is located along the Jersey Shore between Point Pleasant and Mantoloking and is accessible via NJ Transit and is the last stop along the North Jersey Coast Line. The Garden State Parkway runs north/south just west of Bay Head.
